Children Age K – Grade 6

Registration fee is $10/child ($15/child after June 10). Friday lunch and snacks are included in the registration price.  A signed K-5 Field Trip, Medical Release Form or a Gr 6-12 Field Trip, Medical Release Form is required for each child. Please register online or download the K-Grade 12 Registration Form and send it to the conference office. Registration fees may be paid through the adult registration form.

Dinner and childcare will be provided for children whose parents are attending the Pastor Appreciation dinner on Thursday evening.

Childcare and dinner will be provided for children whose parents are attending the Mennonite Men’s and/or Mennonite Women’s dinners.

Fields with an asterisk (*) are required. Please register one child online at a time. If you wish to register more children online, you may complete the online form multiple times and still pay with one check or credit card payment.

All children need to have a K-5 Field Trip, Medical Release Form or the Gr 6-12 Field Trip, Medical Release Form on file before the child may participate in children’s activities. The K-Grade 12 Registration Form may be downloaded and sent to the conference office or picked up at the registration table on site.

A registration fee of $10/child ($15/child after June 10) may be paid through the adult registration process. The registration fee includes Friday lunch.

K-Grade 5 Schedule of Activities

Things to bring:

  • Sunscreen and hat
  • Shoes appropriate for walking the woods and creek
  • Swimsuit and towel
  • Signed permission slips

Thursday

  • 4:45p-7:30p   Childcare will be provided only for children whose parents are attending the Pastor Appreciation Dinner. They will go to the Backyard Picnic for dinner and be taken to the sanctuary for worship. Parents: Drop children off in Room 134.
  • 7:30p    Worship – Parents should plan to pick up their children outside the sanctuary before the worship service. Children will be with parents until after the children’s story. Pick up children immediately following worship in Room 134.

Friday

  • 8:30a – Drop off in the children’s area
  • 8:30a – Get acquainted, play games
  • 9:30a – Walk to the Goshen Dam and explore the woods, trails, and millrace
  • 11:00 – Relax, games, books
  • 11:45 – Lunch
  • 12:30 – Swim at Shanklin Pool
  • 3:00p – Relax, play games, movie, explore campus
  • 5:30p – Meet parents for dinner. Childcare and dinner will be provided for children whose parents are attending the Mennonite Men’s and/or Mennonite Women’s dinners. Parents should plan to pick up their children in Room 134 no later than 7p.
  • 7:30p – Worship. Children will be with parents until after the children’s story. Pick children up in Room 134 immediately following the worship service.

Saturday

  • 8:30a – Worship. Children will be with parents until after the children’s story.
  • 9:00a – Play at Shanklin Park
  • 10:30 – Snack
  • 11:00 – Walk on the bike path/scavenger hunt
  • 12:00 – Pick children up in Room 134 immediately following the delegate session.
Grade 6-12 Schedule of Activities

Friday

  • 8:30a – Meet at College Mennonite Church at the Registration Table
  • 8:30a – Group building games and a volunteer project
  • 11:45 – Lunch with the group or with parents
  • 12:30 – Group time
  • 1:45p – Participate in one or two of the storytelling stations, then enter into creative work around the topic of our stories
  • 4:15p – Lead seminar assembling MCC relief kits
  • 5:30p – Dinner with group or with parents
  • 7:30p – Worship

Saturday

  • 8:30a – Worship
  • 9:45a – Visit Pathways Retreat Center
  • 12:00 – Meet parents in the Lounge by the west entrance immediately following the close of the delegate session.
